Balsamic Vinegar, Saba, Verjus 

and Pomegranate Sauces

Condiments throughout history have played an important role not only in cooking and making sauces, but also as libations and in some cases for their many healing properties.

Take balsamic vinegar for example: It has been said that young balsamic vinegars are excellent for cooking and salads, older more mature balsamic vinegars are perfect for finishing dishes and a very mature well-aged balsamic vinegar is a perfect addition for desserts, aperitifs, digestives and the shear extravagance of enjoying a luxury only a few can experience.

Club Sauce has done its homework and done it very well. We now offer a select few of the finest Italian balsamic vinegars and Italian Saba available anywhere on the market today.

We've also discovered a wonderful California verjus (also known as a verjuice made from green grapes that contains no alcohol). It is an excellent substitute or addition to recipes calling for wine, citrus or for an acidic flavor.

And our most recent discovery, a new twist on a lesser known Indo-European fruit, the pomegranate. These pomegranate sauces are made from fruit and wine cooked down to a syrupy sweet/tart consistency that can be used in a variety dishes from appetizers to desserts and even in mixed drinks.
