Demi-Glace Gold makes a
fantastic base that adds deep, rich flavors to a variety of recipes
calling for a Demi Glace. It's perfect for creating sauces for steaks,
roasts, chops and other red meat dishes. (1.5 ounces or two tablespoons
will make up to one cup of sauce-about 4 servings.)
You can enhance your sauces
with a touch of cream, wine, herbs, mushrooms, and truffles. Try a
teaspoon per cup of rice, and other grains for added flavor. Use as a
soup base or a flavored broth (2 ounces makes a quart). Be as creative
as you like with this superb product.

If you want to create a more
robust and aromatic sauce try adding wine. We suggest that for a rich
sauce with lighter and sweeter notes use a Merlot, Marsala,
Madeira, or a Cabernet wine.
