Product Overview
The finest saffron in the world comes from Iran. Saffron, like many cooking products, is graded and rated for quality, taste, color and aroma. Our supplier only imports sargol saffron directly from Iran and it is recognized as the best saffron on the market today.
The quality of this saffron is noted for it's intense, bright-red color of the stigmas with very little or no trace of yellow styles which many less expensive varieties tend to have. The hand-picked and properly dried saffron is very brittle to the touch, and has a strong fresh aroma with no musty odor.

How to Use: A crop of 5,000 crocus flowers hand picked and processed yields one ounce of saffron threads making it the worlds' costliest spice.
