We searched far and wide to find the ultimate barbecue and grilling sauce for our store. Fortunately we didn't have to range far from our own backyard of Denver, Colorado to find this award-winning sauce.

Grumpy's is a relatively new artisinal producer of "gourmet private reserve bar-b-que sauce." With that said since its inception Grumpy's has garnered two awards in a highly competitive field where the sauce has to be great to succeed.

Grumpy's Private Reserve Bar B Que Sauce was a recent winner at a national show to discover America's Zesty Best, and also the 10th Anniversary of the Fiery Food Challenge. When their peers judge them one of the best in the country it was enough to turn our heads and we're glad we did.

Product Details

Since Grumpy wants to please all his fans he has two versions of this exquisite barbecue sauce. A Bold XX and a Not So Bold.

Both versions are a Kansas City style sauce. That means plenty of natural ingredients using a tomato base, no additives, preservatives and very low in sodium.

Ingredients:

Grumpy's Bold XX begins with a sweet taste, then a smokey flavor with a nice spicy finish. Not too spicy but certainly delicious to the last bite. It contains, brown sugar, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, liquid smoke, hickory smoke flavor, molasses, balck pepper cayenne pepper, spices, Kosher salt, and Oriental hot mustard.

Grumpy's Not So Bold is pretty much the same as Grumpy's Bold XX but all the spices are just a fraction of the original Bold XX. The finishing touch to this sauce is that it contains honey and yellow mustard which gives it a "Not So Bold" taste and a sweeter note to the taste buds.

How To Use:

We discovered that if you can grill it you can probably slather it with either of Grumpy's Barbeque Sauces and be delighted that you did. We've found it excellent for dipping French fries, great as a marinade, overwhelmingly delicious for grilling meats, ribs, chicken, seafood, or adding it to a fresh pot of baked beans.

Rain or shine, indoors or out we know you'll enjoy using this soon to be famous barbecue, grilling and dipping sauce.
