When you want to impress your guests with a meal they will not soon forget, this roasted duck stock will help you do the trick. It is reduced to a glace in the hand-made traditions of the finest French classics. It's the base for an outstanding sauce, soup, rice, risotto, or pasta dish.

The art of sauce making becomes so much easier when you have the proper ingredients at your fingertips. More Than Gourmet helps do that for you with this roasted duck stock. Time is of the essence and you will have plenty of it to share with your guests.

Glace de Canard Gold is a twenty to one reduction sauce. For a richer flavor reconstitute with a little less water. Two tablespoons or 1.5 ounces will reconstitute into 4 cups of rich tasting duck stock.

How to Use: Duck stock is not limited to use with just duck. It makes an excellent sauce for chicken, poultry, and wild bird. Just substitute the duck stock into the recipe. Add a few seasonings to the sauce and wine to finish.
