Product Details

This fond de poulet is a forty-to-one reduction of perfectly cooked white chicken stock, what more could a chef ask for. You'll find this stock always has a consistent flavor and clarity of color, making it a perfect poaching liquid. One ounce makes five cups.

It is a pantry staple that is quick and easy to use and requires very little storage space, especially for the amount of chicken stock it makes. Keep it on the pantry shelf until ready to use. It will last up to 18 months on the shelf and once opened and refrigerated will easily last up to one year.

How to Use: White chicken stock means that the chicken and bones are not roasted before cooking as compared to our More Than Gourmet roasted chicken stock (glace de poulet gold). It therefore produces a very light, clear chicken stock. It is most commonly used as a broth, for lighter chicken flavored soups, sauces, rice, pasta, risotto, and as a poaching liquid.
